My lovely grandad Tom reached the grand old age of 95. He had been in a world that had changed so much, and not so much for the best as far as he was concerned, but that was grandad. He lived in Burnely all his life but travelled the world, in fact at 93 he flew out to Los Angeles for a holiday with my Mum and last year spent 10 days in Spain. He had just lost his daughter (my mum) and didn't fare too well after that. He died 12 weeks later. He is so sadly missed by all his friends and family especially his son, Harry and me. I only knew 'Grandad' from you my friend Andrea, but I felt I knew him so well. What a lovely man. He is an angel with your mom now, they are taking care of each other. I bet they are having a right laugh.
